ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇಥಿಯೋಪಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ 157 ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಧಾರುಣ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್ 737 ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾದರಿಯ ವಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಇತರೆ ದೇಶಗಳು ನಿಷೇಧ ಹೇರಿವೆ .
DGCA has taken the decision to ground the Boeing 737-MAX planes immediately. These planes will be grounded till appropriate modifications and safety measures are undertaken to ensure their safe operations. (1/2)

ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕೂಡ ಈ ವಿಮಾನ ತುರ್ತು ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಾದರಿಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಿಮಾನ ಹಾರಾಟ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಹಾರಾಟ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
